WebDec 1, 2012 · The flour was sieved weekly with a U.S. Standard no. 50 sieve (0.30-mm opening) to remove eggs from the conditioned flour. One beetle-day of conditioned flour was assumed to be one adult beetle per day feeding on 1 g of flour.
