Nelson, Dimitris Zermas, Nikolaos Papanikolopoulos Computer Science and Engineering Tropospheric clouds are divided into physical forms defined by structure, and levels defined by altitude range. These divisions are cross-classified to produce ten basic genus-types. They have Latin names as authorized by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) that indicate physical structure, altitude or étage, and process of formation.

WebCloud Classification and Characteristics Clouds are classified according to their height above and appearance (texture) from the ground. The following cloud roots and translations summarize the components of this classification system: 1) Cirro-: curl of hair, high. 3) Strato -: layer. 5) Cumulo-: heap. WebAerial robots exist in an extremely wide variety of forms. Other than weight, they can be classified by endurance, which determines their range. For example, we can distinguish between High-Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) and Medium-Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAVs, as well as so-called medium- and short-range UAVs, and mini-UAVs.
