Also, a tech came and replaced the cable from the street to the house. There are no unnecessary splitters that we are aware of inside the house. WebT3 and T4 timeouts are not usually a sign of the modem going bad but rather issues with the downstream signal power levels. They are typically normal in small numbers but if it is happening frequently then there could be a few issues. Either the connection coming in or cables within your home, not always the ISP but usually is.

T3 is causes by usually noise/bad connection. I would remove any splitter, extensions, etc and plug directly into where the provider hands off the coax cable.. they will do this most likely with test sets.
